Welding is an instructional program that prepares students for employment or continued education in the welding field.  Students in this program will earn nationally accredited credentials from NCCER.  First-year students learn Basic Safety, Math, Hand and Power Tools, Blueprints, Rigging, Materials Handling, Base Metal Preparation & Weld Quality, Joint Fit-up & Alignment, and Oxyfuel Cutting & Shielded Metal Arc Welding.  Second-year students will learn Welding Symbols,  Reading Detail Drawings, Plasma Cutting, Carbon Arc Cutting & Gouging, Advanced Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Flux-Core Arc Welding, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding.
Skills USA --is the student organization for this class.
NCCER -- is the national certification test for this class.
