Emergency Services Academy

The Emergency Services Academy is a two-year program that offers an exciting introduction to public safety careers found in law enforcement, corrections, fire protection, emergency medical care, and emergency management.  Students will experience a combination of active classroom learning, advanced simulations, and real-world field observations as they learn how to respond to emergencies and other disaster situations.  

ESA students will progress through the state-approved career pathway for Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security.  This includes opportunities to earn special certifications in first aid and CPR, Incident Command, and other emergency service leadership programs.  Upon completion, students will have the knowledge and skills for a career in public safety career and become better prepared for college, military service, or entry into other training academies.
