BIT I & II
Business and Information Technology (BIT)
Students enrolled in the Business and Information Technology Program expands on the skills learned in previous computer classes as well as explore new technologies such as speech and handwriting recognition. Training is provided in word processing, spreadsheets and charts, database management, desktop publishing, and multimedia presentations. In addition, students explore personal financial application units such as taxes, payroll, insurance, and credit and loans. Instruction also includes an introduction to accounting. Students apply skills acquired in projects designed to simulate real-world experiences.
